Overdue post - CNY update.
After a hectic week or so, finally have the time to settle down and write something. As usual, did the house-visiting, gatherings with loved ones, friends and family. Time really flies, everyone have moved on in a way or another. Quite a few friends are married or planning to do so.

For once, i am glad that there is a "3-days holiday", got to meet up with my friends and relatives who are studying/working overseas. Got to know how everyone is getting on, and a lot of
juicy gossip bits. haha. It really touches my heart to see that after so many years, we are still keeping in contact. And there is still a very strong sense of familiarity and bond. Anyway, just to share some random photos.

New year, new clothes. For who?
It's for this naughty boy !
And this is how it looks on him. Kawaii neh? :D
One thing i noticed about my little cousins, kids grow up at an alarmingly fast rate.
This is Sarah last year, Age: 3 years old.
Sarah this year.
isn't she adorable? :D
I played this song to my little cousins because the tune is really catchy. They seem to like it alot too. haha. So enjoy !!

Btw, thank you guys for taking the time to visit and read my blog. Really appreciate it. Last but not least, i pray that everyone have "branded" bread to eat in the years to come.

For those who don't get the drift, click the link below.
"No need for branded bread. Bread is bread, rice is rice. "

2008 - Year of the rat.
Just a short "educational" and simple well-wishing post.

Rat vs Mouse.
How many of you guys know how to tell one
apart from the other? haha. A picture tells a thousand words, let the photos do the explanation.

A Rat.

A mouse.

Anyway, i hereby wish everyone good health & wealth for you and your family. Happy Chinese New Year and Gong Xi Fa Cai !!!!!

Business venture : A&W franchise, anyone?

It's amazing how many locals are willing to go all the way up north just to have A&W, like yours truly here. Guilty as charged. I vaguely remembered having A&W eons ago at Singapore Zoo and Clementi/AMK. The last outlet closed down in 2003, poor Singaporeans have to live without A&W from then.

Seriously, how could anyone forget the freshly-brewed symbolic, fully bodied creamy Root beer float?

What about the "legendary" mouth-watering, piping-hot crispy waffle with 2 scoops of strawberry ice-cream?

Not to forget the cute and adorable delicious looking A&W bear. haha. just kidding.

A glimpse of the other stuffs we had.

After having our fill, decided to burn some calories and do some heart-pumping cardiovascular exercise.
This is where we went. :D

Failed badly trying panning shots with my handphone's camera.

Doesn't the blue helmet look familiar to you?
Just an advice to those who want to try go-karting, don't wear a white top !!! Unless you fancy hard-to-rid oil spots on the back of your shirt.

$15 and abit of your time does wonders.
Daily occurrence : i am somewhat cheesed off whenever i open the boot. The original bulb only emit a soft dim orange tint of light. Although it's not dark until you , but the light is pretty much dysfunctional and disappointing. I had a hard time searching for my stuffs when the sun is asleep. The dim orange light really strains the eyes. Finally decided to do some DIY to save $$$. [click on the photos to enlarge]

With the original bulb. Notice the dull and dim lighting.

Bought this for $15. 24-LEDs waterproof flexible strip.

Took out the useless bulb and threw it as far as i possibly could. Now you see nothing.

And there was light !!!

For better comparison.

For just $15 and tens of minutes, i must say i am quite satisfied with the result.
No more groping in the darkness. No more frustrations !!!

Malacca - 1 day trip.
Almost a month ago, i went on a short one-day trip to Malacca. The pace was pretty relax, with abit of sprints here and there. Cut the story short, let the photos do the talking. :)

Gathering at 2nd link GP Esso.

After 2 hours ++ of riding, we reached Malacca.

Stopped for some regrouping and photo taking.

Riding in the hot sun.

Organiser of the trip : Patrick

Found a place to park and go for our lunch.

After having our lunch, we took a short walk around the town.

The famous ship? haha.

Then we proceed to the nearby Jusco for our shopping needs.

On the way back, the scenery was fantastic, just abit short of breathtaking. I really can't resist the temptation to stop and take a photo. Here is it.

Decided to have our dinner at Kulai. Very nice food !

The ride back from Kulai.

It was a very short and nice trip. can't wait for the next one.
